Overview
The 2012 Kia Sedona is a popular minivan available in LX and EX models. It is a spacious, adaptable and comfortable minivan providing comfort, convenience, style and performance at a great price. A new grille, exterior mirrors with integrated turn signal indicators, steering wheel audio controls, Bluetooth, and an EcoMinder indicator have been included in the list of standard features. Alloy wheels, an auto-dimming rear view mirror and HomeLink are available.
Power and performance
The 271 hp 3.5-liter DOHC 24-valve V6 engine provides improved fuel economy, now with an EPA rating of 18/25 city/highway. This aluminum block engine continues to be mated to a six-speed electronically controlled sportmatic transmission with overdrive.
Body and styling
The standard features of the new Sedona include back-up warning system, projection-type headlights, privacy glass windows, power tilt/sliding sunroof, roof rails, variable intermittent front windshield wipers, AM/FM/CD/MP3/SIRIUS audio system with six speakers, Bluetooth voice recognition, front and rear air conditioning, power windows, USB/auxiliary input jacks, keyless entry and cruise control.
The EX is equipped with six-way power driver's seat, leather wrapped steering wheel, wood grain accent and 17-inch tires with alloy wheels. An 8-speaker audio system, navigation system, rear seat DVD entertainment system with wireless headsets and remote control and front automatic temperature control are optional.
Safety Features
The standard features include seven passenger seating, side impact and side curtain airbags, four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with electronic brake-force distribution, anti-skid system, active front head restraints, and electronic stability system.
